Sibusiso Mtoto was born in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1994. After matric, he continued developing his art skills through pencil drawing. He is a self-taught artist who began drawing at a very young age without any formal guidance, discovering his talent and path through continuous practice.

Over the years, Sibusiso has gained recognition from peers, local communities, and social media followers, often creating commissioned artworks. His work was selected for the BIC Art Master 2022 competition under BIC Africa, where he represented South Africa in the next round with two pieces titled Peace and Connection and Melanin.

He also collaborated on the cover design of the Xhosa book Zona Iinzingo Zobomi Zindomelezile by Tholakele Howana. Sibusiso has participated in several group exhibitions, including the Cape Town Emerging Artists Programme's First Thursdays Pop-up Exhibition at the SA Sendinggestig Museum, 40 Long Street, Cape Town, and the Comic Con 2023 exhibition.
